You will be responsible for leading a team of Engineering Sales Representatives. You will lead, support, and coach the team to focus and generate sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successful ability to lead, support and develop a team of Engineering Sales Representatives as the primary focus of their role.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with management to create and deliver Annual Operating Plan goals within each fiscal year.
  • Supporting the sales process with existing and perspective customers as generated by their Engineering Sales Representative teams.
  • Partners with management team to establish supplier business plans and works with the regional Engineering Sales Representatives to execute the plan in the field.
  • Communicates with their teams on a regular basis. Leads and participates in regular sales meetings and will meet periodically with the immediate supervisor and VP of Sales and Customer Service Manager to counsel, chart progress, and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Maintains and utilizes customer data via Ellsworth’s project management software. Completes and submits required reports accurately and on time.
  • Continues to invest in technical training for self and their team to maintain expert level knowledge of the industry.
  • Performs full range of people-management responsibilities, including making final decisions regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, performance management, compensation decisions, coaching and development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree within a technical or business-related field preferred.
3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, specialty chemical market preferred and 5+ years of leadership experience in industrial sales preferred (or combination of equivalent experience).
